An introduction to Aaron J. Sala, a contemporary and traditional Hawaiian music singer and pianist most well known for his Hawaiian swing style, his 2005 award winning album, and for receiving the Most Promising Artist Na Hoku Hanohano Award in 2006.

Aaron's First Album Was Nominated for Six Awards
Aaron Sala and his 2006 Hula Records album "Ka Upu Aloha: Alone With My Thoughts" were nominated for six Na Hoku Hanohano Awards in 2006: Most Promising new Artist, Best Haku Mele Best Hawaiian Album, Best Hawaiian Language Performance, Best Album Graphics, and Best Album Liner Notes. Aaron received the Na Hoku Hanohano Awards for Most Promising New Artist of 2006 and Best Haku Mele of 2006 (for the song "Ehuehu Mae Nei O Manoa" written by Kihei de Silva). He and one of the songs on his album won two of those awards, Most Promising New Artist and Best Haku Mele.
