Their album "The Alii's" won the 1982 Na Hoku Hanohano Award for Best Contemporary Album released in 1981. In 1982 they also won the Na Hoku Hanohano Award for best single released in 1981. The single featured the songs "You Are the Best Of My Life" and "Feelings".
