Founded Hui Ohana with the Kaapana brothers
Sang at Carnegie Hall in New York in 1996.
Inducted into Falsetto Hall of Fame in 2006
Was Musical Director of the Tihati production
of "Drums of the Pacific" at the Hyatt in Kaanapali.
Founded Hui Ohana with twin brothers Nedward and Ledward Kaapana.
They recorded more then ten albums together and toured extensively.
The group broke up after about seven years, and
Dennis Pavao went on to have a very successful solo recording career.
He won the Male Vocalist of the Year Hoku award for his first album.
Inducted into the Hawaiian Falsetto Music Hall of Fame
on October 13, 2006 at the Aloha Festivals Falsetto
Contest in Waikiki.
