Facts About Keahi Conjugacion
Started singing at age 17 with local
top 40 and R&B bands and she also recorded as a background vocalist.

Mixes native Hawaiian music with blues style
of singers such as Dinah Washington and Etta James
She moved to Seattle at one point in her career and
while she was there she performed at
Seattle Supersonics game, the Bumbershoot Festival,
and nightclubs like Dimitriou's
She performed with some of the Northwest's
finest jazz musicians, including Deems Tsutakawa,
Billy Wallace, Floyd Standifer, Buddy Carlett,
Brian Nova, Randy Halberstadt, John Hansen,
Andre Thomas and Quiet Fire.
She drew inspiration from her work with the
Imani Gospel Choir and the Shades of Praise Gospel Choir.
At the 2003 Hawai`i International Jazz Festival
with her debut performance of her version of
Andy Cummings' "Waikiki," on of the featured
songs on the "Jazz Hawaiian Style" CD.
She also expected to perform at the 2004 Hawaii
International Jazz Festival
In Hawaii, she performs with the Honolulu Jazz
Quartet, Abe Weinstein and the Hawaii International
Jazz All Star Band, and many other local artists

Recordings of Keahi Conjugacion
Her 2004 "Jazz Hawaiian Style" album is a collection
of hapa-haole songs, Hawaiian songs,
and original songs written by her husband
pianist Dan Del Negro. Album also features
Gabe Baltazar. Album was suppose to be
released in July of 2004. After the
album was released she was was planning a tour
that wuld include Japan, New York City, the
Mainland West Coast, and the islands of Hawaii.
