Northern California Ukulele Clubs

Berkeley Ukulele Club
Based at the DeSilva Ukulele Company on 8th Street in Berkeley.

Strum Bums Ukulele Extravaganze Rescue and Relief Band
Meets about four times a month at the Madison Lodge on South Auburn Street in Grass Valley, Northern California.

Napa Valley Flea Jumpers
Meets about once a month at rotating Napa Valley locations.

Ukulele Club of Santa Cruz
The Santa Cruz Ukulele Club meets once a month at Bocci's Cellar Restaurant at 140 Encinal Street in Santa Cruz. The club's theme song is "Under the Boardwalk" because one of the most famous local landmarks in Santa Cruz is the Santa Cruz Boardwalk and Amusement Park. People who have served as club officers include Peter Thomas, Andy Andrews, Michael McGee, Sandor Nagyszalanczy. The Santa Cruz Ukulele Club club hosts an annual Ukulele Campout Weekend at Big Sur and April 22-24 2004 they hosted a Santa Cruz event called "Uke Fest West", atttended by more then 700 ukulele players from around the world.
