Oregon Ukulele Festivals

Information about Ukulele festivals in Oregon. Includes Oregon Ukulele festivals in Eugene, Hood River, and Portland.

Eugene Ukulele Festival
The official name of the Eugene Ukulele Festival is the "Eugene UkeToberFest and the 2009 event will take place October 16-17, 2009. The festival will include ukulele performers in concert, jam sessions, and workshops on fingerpicking, strumming, playing a melody with chords, songwriting, hula, and more. Also includes a beginner workshop designed to teach a beginner to play the ukulele in 30 minutes.

Gorge Ukulele Festival
The 2010 Gorge Ukulele Festival will take place Friday and Saturday, February 19-20, 2010 at the Hood River Middle School in Hood River, Oregon.

Portland Ukulele Fest (Oregon)
The 2008 Portland Uke Festival took place June 18-22, 2008 at Reed College in Portland, Oregon. The event included workshops for beginning, intermediate, and advanced ukulele players and there were concerts open to the public on Friday and Saturday nights.
