most famous contemporary music duo, Cecilio and Kapono.

Henry Kapono and Cecilio Rodriguez
They met in February of 1973 when California artist
Cecilio Rodriguez was on a break from touring with Little
Anthony and the Imperials.
Their first gig as a duo was at J.J.'s Cafe where
Henry Kapono had been playing as a solo artist.
Less then a month later they perform for eight sold out months
t Waikiki's Rainbow Villa.
Within months Columbia Records signed them to a multi-album deal
Their 3rd album won 5 Na Hoku JHanohano awards
