Falsetto Contests in Hawaii
Information about falsetto contests on the islands of
Oahu, Maui, Kauai, and the Big Island of Hawaii.
Oahu Falsetto Contest
All of the winners of the outer-island Aloha Festivals Falsetto Contests
are invited to participate in the finals competition on the
island of Oahu. The Oahu Falsetto Contest usually takes place
in September or October.
Hawaii Island Falsetto Contest
The annual falsetto contest on the Big Island of Hawaii
is called the "Kindy Sproat Falsetto and Storytelling Contest"
and 2008 will be the 17th annual event.
Maui Falsetto Contest
The Maui qualifier for the Aloha Festivals Falsetto Contest
is the "Richard Hoopii Leo Ki'eki'e Contest". 2008 will be
the 7th annual event.
Kauai Falsetto Contest
There has been an annual falsetto contest on the island of Kauai
since 2005. The 2008 contest will be the 4th annual event.
